Robby Berman, Founder & Director
Robert Berman has an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, an MBA from Baruch College, and a BA from Yeshiva University in economics. He is also a graduate of Gruss Kollel and Yeshivat Hakotel. Mr. Berman has been a social activist for many Jewish causes, and was a freelance journalist published in New York Magazine, the Jerusalem Post, Jewish Week, Moment Magazine and the Jerusalem Report. He is the founder and director of the Halachic Organ Donor Society. |

Shepard Schwartz, M.D., President
Dr. Shimshon Schwartz obtained his B.A. from Yeshiva College in
1982 and his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1986.
He is currently attending chief for the pediatric emergency room
in Sharei Zedek Medical Center, Jerusalem. Dr. Schwartz also has
a private pediatric practice in Jerusalem, and during the summer
he is a physician at Camp HASC in upstate New York. |

Michael Feldstein
Michael Feldstein received his M.B.A. from New York University, and is
the marketing director at Boardroom Inc., a direct marketer of books
and newsletters. Mr. Feldstein has extensive experience in helping
Jewish organizations with their marketing, advertising and public
relations, and is on the Board of Directors of Edah. He lives in Stamford,
Conn., and serves as Chairperson of the Advisory Committee of the local
Jewish newspaper, the Jewish Voice. He is an active member of the community's Chevra Kadisha, has served on the boards
of both Young Israel of Stamford and Congregation Agudath Sholom,
and was the
president of the Eruv Committee. |

Harold Perl, M.D.
Dr. Harold Perl received his B.A. from Yeshiva College in 1972 and his
M.D. from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1975. He is presently
the Director of Neonatology at Hackensack University Medical Center.
He is a founding member of the Bioethics Committee at H.U.M.C. In addition
he serves as the Medical Director of the SIDS Center of New Jersey.
He maintains an academic appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor
of Pediatrics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. |

Dina Najman, Bioethicist
Dina Najman received her B.A. from Yeshiva University in 1990. She
was a fellow at Drisha Institute in New York and Nishmat Institute
in Jerusalem. She is a certified Bioethicist through the N.Y.U./Einstein
Bioethics and Medical Humanities program (1998). Dina lectures on
Bioethics and halacha in many communities and has taught in Nishmat,
Drisha and Ma'ayanot High School. |

Mark (Moshe) Wertenteil, M.D.
Dr. Mark Wertenteil received his B.S. in economics from Yeshiva University in 1990 and his M.D. from New York University School of Medicine in 1994. He completed his Residency of Internal Medicine at the Case Western University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1997. He has a medical practice in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, and is an attending physician at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey. |

Yossi Goldberger, M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey Goldberger obtained his B.S. from M.I.T. in 1980 and his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1984. He is currently the Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and Professor of Medicine at Northwestern University. |

Noam Stadlan, M.D.
Dr. Noam Stadlan received his B.S from the University of Maryland in 1984 and his M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1988. He is currently a Neurosurgeon and Director of Spine Surgery at the Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery & Neuroresearch, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at Rush Medical College in Chicago. |
