Occasionally, the HOD Society is contacted by people who wish to altruistically donate part of their liver. The HOD Society has made a number of alustruistic organ donor matches and saved a a number of lives, such as matching kidney donor Eric Swim and ten year old kidney recipient Moshiko Sharon shown in the picture here (click here to see HOD on CNN video).
